Materials Needed
Books, articles, and web sites are referenced in the activities and in the Resources section of the unit.
A comprehensive list of materials needed for the unit can be found in the Equipment Information section of the unit. Items are identified as either “supplied by the educator” or “included in the Adopt-A-Watershed unit kit.” The kit can be purchased from Adopt-A-Watershed. (See the catalog at the Adopt-A-Watershed web site.) The kit does not include materials that are easily supplied by the educator, like pencils, paper towels, etc, or items needed for such activities as the art project, restoration project, and community celebration, which are identified at the time of the activity.
Each activity has a list of materials needed for that activity. Items that are included in the kit are noted by an asterisk.
